Wadou Akifumi is one of the few male students at Juuzenji High. His name is taken from the Wadou Era (708 - 715). He is a member of the Swordfighting club and a practitioner of the Katori Shinto Style. To maximize the speed of his swing, he uses a titanium katana instead of standard steel. Wadou only cutting Joukyuu once went for another slice but got hit by Joukyuu's unnamed technique which ended with him being thrown and knocked out.
